I have said this before, and maybe I am the only one, but Eddren reminds me more of Billy Wright than he does of Daniel Ruffin.
Billy was deceptively quick, a great passer, and a very good shooter until the eye problem affected him in his senior year. Billy had a more solid body like Eddren does.

I think I agree with you. Billy was definitely pass-first like EM, and it seemed like we all were wanting him to shoot more early on in his career, much like we are with EM.

I can see this comparison. However, I think Eddren is much, much faster than Billy was. North to South anyway.

EM doesn't APPEAR that quick to me but everytime you look up he is beating his man to the rack...its what happens afterwords that he needs to and WILL clean up.

Yeah...I feel like EM can beat just about anyone with his quickness. He does a little move and uses his speed to get around almost anyone and I wish that he would be able to cap that all off with a nice jumper that he can sink consistently. That would be great for when we are stuck on a number because I honestly feel like EM can get into at least the top of the paint AT WILL. It'd be a lethal tool.

I agree because there are times if he could pull up instead of getting caught underneath he would be completely dangerous because that would make the opposing team have to double him up and that would leave someone wide open. Good players make adjustments and great ones make their deficiencies into strengths. EM can become great if he can develop a stop and pop shot and limit his turnovers. He has all the tools and weapons around him to excell. I have not seen EN enough to really make a comparison except like SM when his feet are planted, he can really shoot the ball.
