Bradley at Wisconsin-Milwaukee- Saturday, December 20, 2008, 7:05 pm
They should build a sky walk.... Not to get off-topic but how cool will that be for BU games IF the Marriott gets built. Not only for road fans but for the home team fans. On those bad nites park and take the sky walk to the PCC.
For anyone traveling up to Milwaukee the next few days, be very cautious. Lots of ice thru Friday morning from Peoria north and then Milwaukee is suppose to get 12-14 inches of snow from tomorrow thru sunday morning. Going to be nasty on them roads, especially in the rural areas.
With final exams completed Wednesday, the Bradley men's basketball team will place its focus squarely on the hardwood in preparations for Saturday's game at Wisconsin-Milwaukee.? The game against the Panthers is the return matchup from last year's BracketBusters meeting, which the Braves won, 84-72, at Carver Arena.
I wish I could go but have to attend to other business; the ones that are going need to give yourselves a lot of extra driving time as the forecast is not good , drive safe and bring home a win.
Just want to say how happy we are that a lot of you are deciding to make the trip up. Your fan base is everything I wish my fan base was.
If you all get bored with your function and want to hang out in a more college atmosphere, Major Goolsby's is across the street from the Hyatt, and it's also across the street from the Cell (the arena and Hyatt are kitty-corner). A small contingent of us should be there around 5:30 or so.
If you are looking for something after the game, the entire UWM team and coaches comes to Goolsby's following the game for the official Post-game Party. It's a really fun atmosphere and something you might want to do if you're staying in town overnight.
If you're looking for me at the game, I'll be the biggest guy in the front wearing a white #40 jersey. The core group of students will be staying in Milwaukee through Sunday so we can make the game, but we don't think we'll have more than 200 fans at the game.
Hope to see a lot of you in Milwaukee,
Black Panther UWM

Yeah, a large group of us came down, but my friend and I snuck down and sat right behind the team bench. My friend was the one who got escorted out for drinking underage, if you recall. I was the much larger one haha

I remember that well. Didn't you have a black jersey last year?

Yes, I remember that! Some of us got quite the laugh out of it!

Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.
