    Game story from BradleyBraves.com-
PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley tied the fourth-best single-game total for steals in program history and limited visiting Southeast Missouri State (2-8) to 36.2 percent shooting from the field, and the Braves (5-4) coupled the defensive effort with a quick offensive start en route to a 75-62 non-conference men's basketball victory Sunday afternoon at Carver Arena.? Senior forward Theron Wilson led the Braves with 17 points, while freshman guard Darian Norris added 12 in his first career start and senior center David Collins chipped in with a season-best 10 points off the bench.? Southeast Missouri State guard Kenard Moore scored a game-high 19 points and reserve forward Jajuan Maxwell completed the double-digit scoring with a career-high 16 points.

Bradley's 20 steals tied the mark for the 4th highest total in school history.

Theron Wilson should not shoot a 3 for the rest of the season. That's not his game and it's like a turnover every time he raises up from out there.

IMO, the staff needs to work on his shot before they green light TW for threes. --talk about a rainbow arch for a shot---if TW's three ball hits any part of the rim, it's toast.

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I can't recall... was TW's three shots last year 'rainbows'? Or did they have less arch? So has the staff been trying to change his shot therefore changing his results til he gets adjusted and comfortable? Like I said - I don't recall... but his three shot looks different to me this season. Maybe I AM getting old. LOL! Eyes - memory... what's next?!?!

TW needs to give some of that rainbow to SM
There is no team in the the MVC that can match up to us the whole game, if our bigs come to play! BU will win the the MVC this year!

This was my last game as I'm leaving for the Valley of the Sun, where it's going to be rainy and in 50's all week so no golf for awhile.
I like all 3 of our 6 ft guards, but I'm not sure about all of them being on the floor at the same time against bigger and better teams. IMO, DD is the one guy who has to be in the lineup. Don't let TW shoot 3's. Don't want our opposing fans chanting "air ball, air ball." Taylor Brown is going to be a favorite before he leaves the hilltop.

                        Absolutely!

Hey, we're agreeing on something, Tornado. This is a big moment.

Just my humble opinions. I came into the game thinking that I'd be happy with a strong defensive effort and I half-way defined this as keeping SEMO in the mid to low 50's. Call me crazy if you must but I thought that would've made a very big defensive statement...they were a terrible shooting team and they still got 62 points on us at home...I consider that relatively high.

I have now decided that I don't think AT should be in as the only big. He gets swallowed up in there and seems almost non-existent. He had a nice effort though and obviously will get better with more minutes.

A lot of people were impressed with EM but I was more impressed with DN..his smooth shot and his poise was great today.

I think TB should continue to take the 3pt shots despite his average...I don't compare him to WE at all in that he should not be playing down low he gets swallowed up in there also against bigger more talented teams. He's got a nice touch and they will start falling for him eventually.

Disappointed about the defensive effort...still shot poorly..kept this team in it almost the entire way (a 13 point win isn't THAT extreme).

Our shooting percentage was better than theirs in the first half yet they still out rebounded us..go figure..I guess because we had a small lineup

Lastly (and this may sound stupid) but we got beat by SEMO in the 2nd half.....I don't care who was in I don't care if we acted like this was an exhibition game or w/e....that SHOULD NOT happen especially 9 games into the season.

Overall I feel not much has improved except TW's free throw shooting which is good of course...JL needs to figure something out and quick or else it's bottom half of the Valley

Sorry to be the Debbie Downer

Bradleyguy10, yeah, I've got mixed feelings about the win too, but I wouldn't say there's little to no improvement. Bright spots are that our freshmen are getting better and stepping-up when given the opportunity. That's great if our veterans aren't getting the job done. I think Darian Norris had a career high at 12 pts, and McCain had a 6-3 assist/turnover ratio. We're feeding the post a little more, and David Collins had a pretty good game.
