  • Upsets on Saturday

--Tennessee lost to Temple 88-72 and UT wasn't even within 10 points most of the 2nd half. Josh Tabb played 30 minutes!! But unfortunately he scored zero points, 2 asst, 2 TO

--Kansas beaten in Kansas CVity by UMass - 61-60 - thus helping SIU's RPI!

--Ohio State almost got upset by a good Butler team, but hung on to win 54-51, Hayward with 25.

--a mild upset...Georgetown 76 - Memphis 70, Tyreke Evans is still at it, 24 shot attempts but only 1-5 from 3-pt and shootnig 33% overall.

--Indiana State does NOT upset Purdue, 62-76, Harry Marshall returns with 16 points.

--and indeed it is looking like Indiana is having an off day as they trail at Kentucky 36-13 at halftime.
Matt Roth 1-3 from 3-pt range, but IU 1-10 overall from 3-pt and 6-26 overall.
Only one Hoosier (Tom Pritchard with 2 baskets) has more than a single basket for IU.

Possibly the best to 2nd best upset of the Yr with UMass taking down KS on a neutral court. 2-6 UMass taking down 7-0 KS LOL. UMass could barely beat some cupcakes before this one.

Not really an upset but didn't feel like starting a new thread. At least BU wasn't victimized like Alcorn state just was at MSU LOL. MSU just slaughtered them by 58 points and rebounding totals of 47 to 16 LOL. I think they need to initiate a forfeit margin. Say anything over 40 points.

Well, the Atlantic 10 is showing why they will probably be the top non-BCS conference for the second year in a row. These are the type of games Valley teams were winning just two or three years ago. Hopefully the Valley can get back on track next season.

And boy did Butler almost pull off a great win at Ohio St today! Win or lose, Butler is the real deal!

Right, but the last time KU had lost a game there was 1983, so take it for what it's worth...
People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

Is Tennessee overrated? They have only beaten two teams with winning records.
Next up they face Marquette, then Kansas, Gonzaga, and Kentucky...

Is Kansas overrated? their Strength of Schedule is rated 254!! They have beaten ONLY ONE team with a winning record - BUT...every team left on their schedule for the rest of the seaosn has a winning record!!
