  • Join the Red Sea!

Just saw this on the Bradley Web site and figured some you guys might be interested:
PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Basketball fans wishing to join the Red Sea student section during the four December and January home games while school is not in session will have the opportunity to purchase a four-game package of tickets beginning Monday at the Shea Stadium Ticket Office (1523 W. Nebraska Ave.).? The four-game ticket package in the lower bowl behind the students who have purchased their tickets for the break period is $50 and includes the game Dec. 23 versus Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, as well as Bradley's three home games against the top three teams in the Missouri Valley Conference preseason poll:? Dec. 28 against Southern Illinois, Jan. 6 versus Interstate 74 rival Illinois State and Jan. 10 against Creighton.? The package also includes a free Red Sea student section t-shirt.? Fans are required to purchase the package in person or via phone (309-677-2625) from the Bradley Ticket Office at Shea Stadium, beginning Monday through Dec. 23.

This is such an obviously better idea than selling the tickets to CAT.

Looks like somebody's been reading this board. At least this way, the students who are here, can still claim thier original seats during break. I may consider this package.

This is great news and something that should have been done a few years ago. Now we need to get as many students out to these games over break as possible so there is incentive to keep doing it in future years!

Great idea, especially with how huge those three games are going to be.

Yes, it says so at the bottom of that page. I would assume you have to get it done asap though.

I believe Monday is the last day to do so.

If Bradley people do read this board, I have four words:

So is the musical chairs game!

I do applaud a couple of our regular posters for bowing out of the game gracefully, instead of crowding out the little girl who eventually won.

If we do need to have the musical chairs game, please pick all contestants about the same age and size, so it's fair, and someone doesn't get hurt!

Add in the boring video intro for the lineups. I think I yawned twice during it for the Butler game.

I am also not a big fan of the musical chairs game but the sponsor for it loves it so it will continue to happen. The first time they did it, I was in charge of finding people for it so I was sure to find people in the same age range. I was only in charge of that because it was the game over break so the regular people weren't there. For the last game they were back and unfortunately they had 5 college age and a little girl participate. Thankfully the little girl won but i agree somebody could have gotten hurt.
