I spoke with DB about a month ago, and he said he would return to the Board after taking some time to put BU basketball back in proper perspective. He also indicated a desire to come to Peoria for a game or two later this year (perhaps the Creighton game).

I have to admit, the lousy economy, the drop in my retirement account, along with everyone else's, just depress me if I think about it. So I am spending more this year. It's a good cure for depression.

You better keep shopping DC... I just got this report from my broker which is pretty interesting and sad at the same time....

I have to admit I am spending more this year. I have boys that are ten and six. prime age for good Christmas memories. My wife and I spend very little on each other or relatives besides the kids. It's been that way for a few years.
