  • Room for Milwaukee.....Great Deal!!!!

My brother and I are making our first road trip of this season to Milwaukee. If anyone is thinking of going, tonight we just got our room for that Saturday on priceline at the Hyatt Regency for $41. We chose the Downtown Milwaukee location and 3.5 stars for the accepted bid. The Hyatt Regency is directly across the street from where the game will be played so its the perfect location. Hope this helps if you are making arrangements to go cheer on our Braves!!!!
    Go small or go home!

Thanks for the info, I'm gonna look into getting a room there. I'll be traveling up with 4 or 5 other guys, can't wait.

That's where I'm staying as well. Paid a little more than $41 though, but that's o.k.-glad you got a great deal. Hope to see a lot of BU red in the stands and at the hotel.

Does anybody know how far the drive is from Peoria? I guess I can look it up but I was feeling lazy and hoping that somebody else already did

I'd say a little over 3 hours. I'd advise against speeding in Wisconsin though. A couple of years ago I went up there for the Gus Macker World Championships and got ticketed in Milwaukee county for going 6mph over the limit on Interstate 43 and it was $242.00. Sad thing was I was only about 1/2 mile from my exit for the hotel.

Milwaukee is about 4 hours from Peoria. I would suggest taking I-39 north through Rockford and getting on I-43 north (a few miles after getting into Wisconsin) rather than drive through Chicago. There is one toll north of Rockford on I-39.

                That's our answer to tolls.

Yeah, four hours, give or take. Depends a little on traffic. Rockford can be a little slow depending on the time of day due to construction. But it still beats going through Chicago by far.
