--Also like the way that SS tried to take the ball to the basket a couple of times last night.
Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
EM played as well as a freshman can play and I see a bright future for him.
The developement of Eddren McCain in the last few weeks would be the best thing going for BU right now in my opinion. It looks like his confidence has grown so much.

Also, I thought Sam Singh played fairly well til he got tired...
Thompson brought a presence inside that we didn't have the entire game and blocked a Howard shot and make a nice pass from the post for an Edge 3 ball.
Taylor Brown once again proved he belonged on the court w/ a great defensive effort as well as some good crisp passes.

Dodie never quit playing...
Excellent assessment! I can agree with everything here.
I'll add that it's nice to see Sam M. regaining both his health and his shot. I think he'll be a stud again by MVC play

Yes I can agree w/ that...
I just wish we'd stop playing Sam as the chase man in the zone...its not that he's not good at getting to the defenders...he's just too short...and thats not something he can fix, but something the coaches can...
I have noticed he was a bit quicker last night so hopefully that means he's feeling better and his foot is as well....
We just really need to get stronger w/ the ball and I feel like putting Sam at the 2 at times(which others have stated) can alleviate the pressure he may feel from having the ball too much.
That and he just needs to keep it simple....by doing that, I think we will have a much improved player and he'll be back to the 6 a - 1 to per game Sammy we all love.
