I for one have had it up to my neck with, if we would of had AW and WE, we would of done this and we could do this. Bull **** Why talk about it at all, its not going to change a thing. Stop cring in our beer and looking for excuses Yes we all know we would be a better team with them but how much better, No-One knows, No-One
So why waste time and air on it. Or for some of you that making that excuse makes you feel better, talk to someone who cares and wants to keep hearing it.

The fact that Bradley is without Warren doesn't irritate me like it does you. But it is a fact. A healthy Warren would have made a significant difference in every game Bradley has played this year.

Speaking of "wasting time and air" on things, do you really think that by posting a million times with the same complaints about this team that you are going to make anything different?

I have essentially been saying the same thing for the past month. Yes, AW is our best returning player and yes, WE started the last three games in which he was healthy. It sounds to me like everyone that continues saying things like "we're a much better team with AW and WE in the lineup" or "AW makes the entire team better" have given up on this season considering WE is out for the season and AW is likely to follow.

First, you are wrong, the post did not discredit my opinion, but substantiated it. The fact is that Creighton underachieved without Funk, and ISU underachieved without Bryson. Andrew Warren is just as valuable to this team, and either of those players were to their team.

There were some posts removed, but for good reason. You used the term "garbage" in referring to the Bradley players and team. Please read the rules if you need any clarification regarding what will and will not be allowed on this forum. Other posts were removed because some posters seem to think that they alone can define reality, and that they can insult those who don't agree with them. Posts will continue to be removed if they violate our board's rules.

I expect posters to be able to describe their opinions and criticisms of the game or the team without resorting to childish, insulting, and offensive attacks on players, coaches, or other posters.

You can direct that post to my PM's then because I don't remember using that term...

On the other hand, I stated Funk is better which as of now is simple fact you can't ignore...

To finish, they won 20 games...including 12 in the conference...yes maybe losing him kept them out of the NCAA tournament, but it didn't make them a 500 or sub-500 team...

I just don't get the constant basis for making excuses for everyone...

I'm tired of excuses too. I don't expect a championship with all of the injuries we've had, but I do expect the team to play hard and play fundamentally sound. Right now, as a whole, this team plays dumb and doesn't look like it cares. Sure, there are some individuals who are putting forth effort, but collectively it doesn't appear that way. Jim gets paid to figure this out. Hopefully he will.

At this point I know we are missing Andruw and I think missing Will is an even bigger factor than AW...

And I don't expect a championship this year regardless of what some may think...

I just expect us to play the right guys, get them to play hard, and finish in the top 4...

Right now, we'll be lucky to stay out of the bottom 4...

If you want a forum for constant attacks on Bradley, and the team, then the other board would welcome that. This forum is populated by fans who are pro-Bradley and support this team, and many are offended by the personal attacks that some posters use whenever Bradley loses a game. Funny how that disappears when they win.

I shall try to be more civil, but you at least have to admit that one "unnamed" individual on said roster deserves the majority of what he's getting, regardless of how nice an individual he is, which I can say he is that as I've met him quite a few times...

Its like separating business and personal...Personally I enjoy everyone and think they are really great young men and also find the coaches to be great guys, unfortunately the nicest guys don't always finish first as you and I both can probably attest to...

BTW and it is my opinion he needs to put DC behind him, I really do not believe that DC's teammates believe in him nor do they trust him to bring it nightly.

I noticed this more than a few times last night. Our guys on the wing looked like they wanted to pass the ball inside to DC, but they each outwardly appeared to have second thoughts and ended up kicking the ball out to one of our guards.. I cant say that I blame them.

Please remember they players are trying hard, even if it doesn't yet translate into success. I don't like the results from last night, and nobody does. But they are still just kids. And they do read the stuff we post on these boards. We can be critical of what goes on and still be supportive of the team.

I have not seen every game, but there are two noticeable facts. This is a very poor shooting team (especially on free throws) and they are smaller in size than their opposition. I do not expect much the rest of this season and predict we will finish 7 to 9 in the Valley. I am more optimistic for next year.

Irritate, try very disappointed But I am not going to use it as an excuse or keep dwelling on it like you. I think, I said (if you reread my post that we all know we would be a better team with both AW and WE. I forgot about YOU when I said No-One would really Know, how much better. As for making anything different, lets use your way of thinking, don't discuss the teams problems, everything is good, we don't need to change anything, we don't need to find solutions to bad D, poor 3 point shooting, poor free throw shooting, and winning games. Just keep beating a dead dog excuse of we have two injured players and before you know the season will be over. I don't think JL has that in mind You have us on a death march now and I don't think that is any where close. Things are upside down right now but we have to and I think we will get it right side up and still contend for the MVC title.
