for those interested...UW-Platteville is hot...and playing well.
Their center, Jeff Skemp was just named to the 5-man DIII Team of the Week (a 5-man National Player of the Week award).
Last week he was named their conference Player of the Week.
UW-P is 6-0, Skemp is averaging 20.3 ppg, 7 rpg, 68.8 FG%, and 85% on FT's.
I strongly suspect this kid would do fine in DI and is probably better than a whole lot of teams' big men.
UW-P has moved up from 7th Naitonally and in the most recent poll is now 5th Nationally, and getting 1st place votes.
