I am posting this because this kid sounds like the type of player Bradley could use with their final scholarship.
The NJCAA National Player of the Week is Roderick Emanuel from Santa Fe (Florida) Community College--
Player of the Week
Roderick Emanuel, a 6-foot-2 sophomore guard from Santa Fe (FL) CC, was named NJCAA Player of the Week.
Roderick Emanuel, a 6-foot-2 sophomore guard from Santa Fe (FL) CC, was named NJCAA Player of the Week for the week of December 3rd.
In two games against Polk and Brevard last week, Emanuel had 48 points, 15 rebounds and three assists, while shooting 62.9% (17-of-27) from the field and 80.0% (12-of-15) from the three-point line. On Nov. 26, he scored a career-high 28 points to lead the Saints to a 66-50 win over Polk. Against Brevard, he hit all six of this three-point attempts and 11-of-13 attempts from the field overall to lead the Saints to a 67-58 win.
Emanuel started all 28 games as a freshman and was named the Mid-Florida Conference Freshman of the Year and also a member of the MFC First Team and First Team FCCAA All-State. He led the team in scoring with 11.1 points per game and reached double figures in 17 games last year. Emanuel averaged 4.5 rebounds per game and shot 42.7% from the field, 35.9% from the three point line and 79.6% from the free throw line.
For the record, I believe Bradley is recruiting some guards from Florida, but I do not know if they are recruiting Emanuel.
