  • Michigan State center Goran Suton to have surgery, will miss Bradley game

Michigan State senior center Goran Suton missed MSU's last several games, and he will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his eft knee.
He will miss 2 to 4 weeks, which means he will not play against Bradley on Sunday. He was their leading rebounder before the injury.
DETROIT -- Michigan State senior center Goran Suton won't play against North Carolina tonight and will undergo arthroscopic surgery on Thursday, a team official said before tipoff at Ford Field. Suton missed the previous three games with a sprained knee...

In last year's game (12/4/07) at Carver Arena, Suton played 30 minutes, scored 6 points, and had a team-leading 11 rebounds against Bradley.

MSU could of used him last night not that it would of changed the outcome but may of stopped some of the hurt. Tyler Hansbrough is just a beast. He is just relentless and the eyes. Have not seen them since Mike S. played for the Bears. Was disappointed that there was NO Mention of BU as their next opponent
There is no team in the the MVC that can match up to us the whole game, if our bigs come to play! BU will win the the MVC this year!

Hansbrough does have that intensity! I thought WE was brining that to our team also, the guy who brings the lunch pail. DD has that workmen approach as well as SS. I just wish some of that intensity would have rubbed off on DC. Regardless one Izzo's teams bring is that toughness. NC is just in a class of themselves this year. Everyone on that team can run, rebound, jump and shoot. They do not have a weakness that I could see.
