But UIUC losing hurts on my prediction.

Yet OSU helped - but thanks to the ejection to the Miami player.

I don't know what to think of the Duke/Purdue game.
I love Mackey, Keady Court, not a bad set in the house and great fans. The students really get in to it. I miss Keady's faces and the shirt hanging out. You ever been there?

There is no team in the the MVC that can match up to us the whole game, if our bigs come to play! BU will win the the MVC this year!

Purdue seems to always run a clean classy program. You have to love their court! They are in pretty good hands right now and I expect them to play better as the season progresses.

Keady was always great to watch with his shirt hanging out, the red face and with the comb over.

      They'll still lose tonight though.

No - Would definitely enjoy a game there. You "buy and fly" us and I am in. I'd even wear Black&Gold.

Ohio State looked great today. They clean up their game a bit and they can go a long way this year.
Only reason OSU wins tonight is because their coach b*tched and whined about Miami's star player taking a swing at one of his players enough for the officials to go to the monitor and eject him...

Not saying it was right, but for Matta to whine about it as much as he did...it was like watching a child have his lunch money taken from him by the school bully.

I'm glad he did "whine" about it. No place for that in a basketball game. This time the bully got caught taking the lunch money and had to suffer the consequences.

the "star" player from Miami was first slapped in the face by the Ohio State player, but as always it is the retaliation that gets penalized.

The first was accidental the second was retaliation.

I agree, the 1st was accidental. The ref could have called a foul on the initial contact of the OSU player, but not eject him from the game.

That's called a good coach . Good call by the refs.

I have no problem standing up for his players, especially when it is physical contact that could really injure others.

BTW walked my team off the court this year because of the lack of control on the officials part.

I was at the Ohio State @ Miami game. When Jack got ejected, no one could understand what the reason was. Heck, the referees had to look at the video replay for a while to understand what happened. I thought the call was BS until I watched the highlights on ESPN. Stupid move on Jack's part, but unfortunately, he just reacted instinctively.
