I also went to Evansville years ago when we had a huge half time lead, blew it in the second half and Mo got tossed. Had seats at mid court 15 rows up and they were real quiet to us when we had the lead but real "mean" when we emploded Going to road games is great, if you can handle a little heckling.
I love road games. Gotta get to some more of them this year.

Crouch / Ruffin / Wilson with huge days. Big 3 after big 3, and we lost 110-111 in double OT I think. Few bad calls, things that didn't go our way, Singh missed the open hook shot to win it. What's his face Witter had like 42 points off the bench. Electric atmosphere but the weirdest thing was their cheerleading squad. They were dressed in blue and white striped overalls and looked like farmers.
It was up and down. There were almost no Bradley fans within our sight except Glasser right behind the bench and we stood up when they sat down and they glared at us, but then when they made a big play they would all stare at us. I would go again in a heartbeat.
I was at that game and agree it was one of the best games I have ever attended if you exclude the outcome. I think we were down about 16 points when I told my friend BU would win this game. He thought I was nuts! JC and Ruff got hot and we ended up tied with about 40 seconds to go. We had that game won on a couple different ocasions in overtime but just could not close the door. Booker Woodfox absolutley killed us. The Qwest Center is a beautiful arena and I also recommend it highly. I have a very good ticket connection there so I am sure I will be returning soon.

I'm getting to 3 road games, Drake, InSU, & ILSU, as well Arch Madness this year. I really want to get over to Omaha some time, though that's quite a road trip. I also LOVE going over to Hinkle, so I'll likely make that trip again next year.

Lots of things have topped the last two games BU has played at Arch Madness.

I have heard rumors that the game next year at Butler may not happen.

Simple answer: Our attendance situation is extremely sad. I've harped on it a million times. Our schedule hasn't helped at all, nor has the fact that we've only had 1 game so far at home when students were there. Hopefully it starts to pick up now that we're in the Valley sched.

As for UNI, this is the 2nd year of the McLeod Center and they drew pretty well there last year. It only holds 7K though (maybe even a bit less for basketball?) Before that, I think they were only getting around 4K to the dome during most years, so their average is about on par.

DC-Is this a "one year hiatus" or an end to what was supposed to be a 4 year agreement ?

I do not know any details, only that one side wants out of the deal, and it's not us.

I would hate to lose Butler on our schedule. IMO we should try to play them every year.

                              Are Students Back Yet?

There were so few students (I assume students) at last nights game I'm wondering if they are back from break yet? Didn't see too many standing for fight song so thought maybe they were Caterpillar interns with freebee tickets.

Students have been back for over a week. Classes began January 21.

Unfortunately, Bradley has a lot of Wednesday night classes and meetings!
