          Here's a BU news release...

"Men’s basketball players Will Egolf, Brian Lavin, Ryan Phillips and Andrew
          Warren
... will be Guest Readers Thursday at Franklin-Edison Primary School in
Peoria. Invited to participate in Franklin-Edison’s school-wide Guest Reader
program, the Bradley basketball players will be dispersed to seven classrooms
from 8:30-9:30 Thursday morning to read to the grade schoolers and answer
          questions from the children.
This week’s community service activities are the latest among the many
volunteer service programs involving Bradley student-athletes throughout the
          year."

WE, there's plenty to do without basketball for the next 6 months. You will now have the time to figure out the other things in life that interest you. Rehab will be a bit@& but remeber a gem cannot be perfected without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.

Take advantage of this time you have in front of you and find out the steps you need to take to get you to where you want to get as a person. Alaskans are known for their toughness and I'm sure that this trait will carry you through this trial and tribulation.

Will, based on what you showed us the past few games, you have an outstanding BU career ahead of you. Hang tough and everything will fall in place for you (and for us fans) next year. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Will, best of luck in your recovery. I tore my ACL back in the 80's and recovered 100%, so a great athlete like you will have no problem! Keep your head high and do everything the therapist and your trainer says and you will be ready in no time. There are going to be great things for you and BU basketball in the next couple of years so keep your sights set on that. And, by all means don't re-injure your knee by chasing girls... let them chase (and catch) you.

Like everyone else I'm wishing you a successful surgery & speedy recovery. I had an ACL replacement surgery by Doc Phillips in '99 and made a 100% recovery. Being the superior athlete you are, this is just a minor setback!

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes for Will.
We're unsticking this from the top of the board, pending the next decision on when WE will have his surgery.
