From where I was seated, it looked very awkward in regards to his knee. There was no one around him, so it wasn't a collision. He received a pass and landed to turn and head to the basket and he dropped. There was a collective gasp when he went down, then pretty much silence. Standing O as he was helped off the court, which was great.

Really hope you are right Tornado!!!!!!!!!!!
Not to overlook the fact that Will is a great person, but our offense just flows better with a big athletic, defense minded center, who can score. Without him, we seem to struggle.
He came into the Richmond game and we played considerably better, and won.
Tonight we looked awesome, until he went down.
However, my thoughts and prayers are with Will as a person.

Just back from the game. First and foremost, GET WELL WILL EGOLF!
I havent been able to see this team since the exhibition games, but imo, with Will Egolf in the lineup this team has a swagger to it. I am not one to make too bold of a statement, but from what I saw tonight, with Will in the lineup, we have a real shot to win the MVC!
AS for DC, all I have to respectfully say is that we need to get AT some minutesBradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I am not saying by any means that he is going to be cleared to play anytime soon. I still think regardless of how he feels that he is going to be out for a while. This is nothing like high school where you play through the pain, we need him for conference.Walk on, Walk on
With hope in your hearts,

Yeah...I'm sure most of you know this but just because it doesn't hurt and he's walking around doesn't mean it's not an ACL.
In high school 3 of my friends tore their acl's 4 times (yes between the 3 of them) and two of them said that it didn't hurt and were walking on it the same day. They got their hopes up and needless to say were very disappointed when they found out they would be missing entire seasons.

That's true, for all we know, he could of fractured something also. For those that didn't see it, in addition to other people's description of it... Will went down, grabbed his knee immediately and slammed his fist on the floor 5 times. He didn't attempt to move his leg/knee after he went down. I think, even with a negative MRI, he'll be out for at least 2 months. Has to get healthy and then into game shape. Playing in Jim's run and gun offense takes longer to get into game shape I do believe. Tough break for Will though, he was really starting to step up and was proud of himself for it. Always like to see the guys work for a starting spot and then succeed. Either way, someone is going to have to step up, that person I would like to see is Taylor Brown. He's been on that ball every minute he plays, just needs to work on his defensive sets a tad bit.
