  • Rebounding this year

We all were worried about our rebounding this year due to the last few years of inefficiencies especially letting teams get a bunch of offensive rebounds on us. This year the team looks real strong in this category and they will have a real test next weekend. I so far like what the new guys are bringing to the table. TB, TW, CR, WE, DD and even EM really go hard after each one. Last year if it was not TW we had slippery fingers MS and that was about it.

So far I give us a B+ and I would give us an A except when DC is in there I feel there is a bit of vulnerability still.

I say we give Taylor Brown a heavy dose at center in practice this week and see what he can do against Michigan State. He is a ball magnet but let a few easy layups get by him in limited time tonight. They have 7 days to work on that this week.

I'd like to see Thompson also but he's still a little skinny for the big boys. I want Brown to start and Thompson to get maybe 15 minutes next Sunday and see where we go from there.

I was thinking the exact same thing. If AT isnt going to get minutes in garbage time vs ETSU then he will not get any significant minutes vs Mich St

That worries me as well, especially when DC has another opportunity and immediately shows his non-aggressive style yet again.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12
