I just wanted to pass a note of special thanks to Da Coach and Ken Kavanaugh.
I have been in the Venice, FL area this last few days dealing with the ill health of my 89 year old Grandfather. On Wed afternoon my Mom and I found a break in our schedule (as all who were there cant be in the hospital at once) and I asked DC if he could help us with some tix to come see the Braves play Richmond in Ft Myers. He passed KK's cell number on to us and KK couldn't have been nicer and more gracious in leaving a couple of tix for us at will call.
My Grandfather passed away on Thanksgiving and as sad as that might seem, it was a true blessing. Up to the end he was a VERY active fisherman and boater in beautiful South Florida and we had all feared of the day when he would not be able to do all the active things he loved. He only spend 8 days in the hospital and not a single day in any kind of nursing facility.
In the midst of all this we not only were able to spend to time at Grandpa's home together with relatives from all over the country, run his boat in Lemon Bay, have dinner together on the Gulf and see the Young Braves play a fantastic game vs. a real quality opponent and get a BIG W! What a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Thanks again DC and KK. The Bradley community is true a family.
