Seriously, they may or may not suck.. I just simply do not care about the Illinois basketball team.

And since this is a Bradley Basketball board I really wish there were no discussions of that program on this board. I highly doubt anyone on any Illinois board will mention a Bradley game or any game we play.

So, and its my opinion, keep the Illinois talk on the other Peoria board or an Illini board but on the Bradley Basketball board... no thanks.

wow, Mac, you are really gettin' into the Illini...
and nope, Billy Cole didn't play again.......and in their first 5 games, he has played a grand total of 21 minutes.
And if he doesn't get playing time against Kent State, it won't get better when they play Purdue, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Michigan State.
Maybe he'll get some minutes against Indiana.

Let's hope he gets more playing time. Always got to root for the local kid such as Bill who is a good kid and keeps his nose clean.

Well - there are 2 teams on the floor. Sometimes stats don't reflect one's offensive abilities well, but shows their defensive abilities better.

Can't imagine anyone enjoying watching a blood-bath like that as they gouge their eyes out from the poor shooting. Tulsa went 2-17 from 3 and UIUC was 0-10.

UIUC guts out another good win IMO. And I rack this one up with the many lucky wins they seem to have under their belts.

I know their program has had some setbacks over the past couple seasons, and they have lost some close ones which were heart-breaking, but cheeze-n-rice I think they are the luckiest BCS school against Non-BCS in the past 5 years or so.

MacabreMob's Schadenfreude is gonna have to wait for another day.
