I feel the same way as the HemmeyMonster, but could you imagine the team we would have his 5th year! Also, he would slide right over to the 2 position which he'll probably do next year anyway. Next years team regardless looks extremely formidable. We'll be losing TW, SS and DC where SS could possibly be back, through a petition to the NCAA, believe it or not. I believe TB/CR will fill in the TW role quite nicely and if JW is the player we think we have, this could be a scary team. This will be 13 scholarship players fighting for every minute of playing time.

    SM - EM
    AW - DD - DN
    CR - TB
    JW - Prosser and Knezevic
WE - AT and possibly SS

from what I hear you might want to switch TB and JW....JW more of a 3 than a 4...TB playing good at the 4!

SS could be back next year?? can anyone else confirm this? If it is possible how likely is it?

The good thing about JL's system is that the 2-4 positions can be very interchangeable in our offensive set. The 1 truly has to manage the game and the 5 usually sets screens and occasionally posts up.

No, he will not be back next year. He will have used up his eligibility, and it is unlikely the NCAA would grant him a 6th year, even if Bradley requested it. Bradley probably won't have a scholarship available for him, and it's not likely they would even request the NCAA grant another year of eligibility.

I figured as much. Thanks for clearing that up

I was playing more of the 'what if' until we fill that last scholarship. Regardless JL and staff will have a bunch of options next year and will be able to wreak havoc in the match up game.

Before its all said and done...EM will be a very good player for the Braves!

AW has the same injury that PG and AP had. Both of those players missed about 10 games, and were able to finish the season. However, neither was the same after their return. Do we really want AW at less than 100%? If we play smart basketball, continue to rebound, and continue to improve offensively we can be a top 4-5 team without AW. From what I hear though, a reshirt isn't being considered at this point.

I also heard that a R/S is not being considered. Hopefully he can heal quickly and be back really soon, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

probably, but should he wish to pursue his basketball career in college, his options DO include requesting a 6th year waiver from NCAA.
He actually is likely to be eligible since he lost two years to injury and has remained a good student.
And even if he chooses not to stay at Bradley, he could possibly be eligible to play at a DII or even another D-I if NCAA allows him to transfer as a graduate student and get a waiver to play immediately.

First of all, if Andrew was here a 5th year that team would be ridiculous and impossible to beat at home. Wouldn't Harris also be here?

But I think the red shirt probably isn't being considered right now, but might later. I think for one they don't want to send the message to any recruits that we give up on certain years and don't put forth every effort possible to win as much as possible. They may later only because they realize it's just not healing fast enough or he has set backs in practice.

Does anyone think that if Wilkins were to clear smoothly and make a big enough impact right away that this redshirt scenario would become more likely?

No. The decision rests solely in the hands of AW and his family. Whether Wilkins is here or not has no impact on their decision.

I agree, dogsrus. If Will Egolf is out for a significant amount of item, let's give him a medical red-shirt. There's too much potential we saw in Will to waste an entire season(if it comes to that).

Regarding AT, yeah, I want to see him get PT. As long as his deficiencies in practice are not attitude related, then I'm all for him seeing the floor. If he just needs to get into game shape, let him do it in an actual game.
