Hopefully, the coaches and players are watching a lot of video of Drake's win over Missouri State on Saturday. Drake is not known for their defense. They have ranked 9th or 10th all season in opposition scoring average and they are dead last by a wide margin in opposition FG%. Yet they held Missouri State to just 58 points, 14 points below their average coming into that game. Drake also held the runaway leader for MVC Player of the Year Alize Johnson to just 2 free throws and 0-9 from the field. We need to see some of that tight defense on Tuesday night from Bradley.
One other note, Missouri State has lost their last 3 MVC road games (at ISU, Evansville, and Drake), while Bradley is 10-0 at home this season.

This will make the 3rd game in a row that Childs has started. He started the last 2 games against Evansville and Illinois State.

Las Vegas has Bradley as a 1 point favorite.

Seems like most people thought Childs would be starting about this time....he's earned it for sure....we need a couple of role players to have nice games, either NK,LVB, JH....who knows...maybe Childs starts and Bar ends up with 8 points or so...

For the record, I have never believed the "sophomore slump" theory.
But, it's hard to figure why virtually all of Koch Bar's numbers are down this year from his freshman season-
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-bas...66974/koch-bar

He has only scored a total of 4 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the last 5 games combined, and he has gone scoreless in 3 of them-
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-bas...66974/koch-bar

What happened to the guy who had 14 rebounds against a good Georgia Southern team? And 14 points & 7 rebounds against Valparaiso? We need that guy to return for the remaining games.

my observation:
He plays as if he KNOWS he will be yanked the instant he picks up a foul and then be sat for the rest of the 1st half if he gets his 2nd...so he's constantly trying to avoid like the plague any and all contact!
That's devastating on defense as you saw what below-the-rim Cameron Krutwig did to him, and it kills any scoring ability on offense as he's afraid to attack the rim and prefers to back off or fade away with a bad shot.

It won't be blacked out by NBCSports Chicago (the former ComcastSports Chicago). It is only blacked out by ESPN3 in areas where NBCSports Chicago is available. If you get NBCSports Chicago, you should see the game.

Correction- the game will be on NBCSports Chicago PLUS channel.

Yes, I knew that but misspoke in the earlier post. I had it right in my first post of the thread. Thanks for the correction.
