It's looking as if Jim Molinari's job is a bit more secure this season. Jim is a top assistant coach under Head Coach Tim Miles at Nebraska. Last year, Miles' 5th year at Nebraska, he had his worst season, going 12-19, and they had their third straight Big Ten season with 6 or fewer wins. Nebraska fans were calling for a coaching change, and Miles was thought to be on the hot seat this season.
But they have rebounded nicely this season. Nebraska beat Maryland last night for their 20th win, and they are currently in 4th place in the Big Ten-

Their last 3 conference games are at Illinois, and at home against Indiana and Penn State, all potentially winnable games. Barring a collapse in their finals games or in the Big Ten tournament, they have a chance for an NCAA at-large bid. Nebraska has only appeared in the NCAA tournament once in the last 20 seasons.

Well deserved honor Mo. Hope to see you at the banquet but you'll probably be busy recruiting. Just remember the B/N area has some nice players to visit.
