There will be Kaboom's Christmas Party (Holiday Party for those who prefer the politically correct terminology) at the game, which should appeal to kids.

The Bradley women's team never trailed and won their game this afternoon against UIC 58-48, despite a sub-par shooting day.
http://www.bubraves.com/boxscore.asp...07&path=wbball

Bradley shot just 32.1% for the game, but their defense was great, holding UIC to 30.4% overall, and 16.7% from three. They outrebounded UIC 47-37, and sophomore Chelsea Brackmann had 15 rebounds. Bradley is now 4-3, and next plays at Eastern Illinois on Tuesday, Dec. 5.

BU WBB had a nice month in December 2016 going 4-2 despite a loss to a nationally ranked team...

They are currently 7-5 and 1-0 in the MVC with a big blowout win at ISU (62-42) and they got a win over defending champion Summit

the top four producers all return next year as do 7 of the top 9
..and four of the top rotation players are just freshmen...so they are rebuilding like the men did and finally getting there....

Fun to watch also, not at the top of the league but getting there. They play like their coach, giving 100% all of the time. That is about all you can ask.

Bradley women's head coach Andrea Gorski signed 5 quality recruits in November. We had links to profiles about all 5 here-
http://bradleyfans.com/vb/showthread.php?t=27204

Here is an article from today (Jan. 9) that contains a segment about one of those commits, 6' guard Lasha Petree from Arbor Prep in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The article profiles the top 10 players in the Ann Arbor area.
BU commit Lasha Petree is ranked #1, and her younger sister Mahri Petree is ranked #4 on the list.
http://www.mlive.com/sports/ann-arbo..._player_1.html

So far this season, Lasha is averaging 20.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4 steals and 3.1 blocks per game. Younger sister Mahri also holds an offer from Bradley.

Here are a few other recent articles about the Bradley commits-
5'8" guard Aannah Interrante, now playing at McHenry High School (played at Johnsburg HS last year)-
http://www.nwherald.com/2018/01/04/h...watch/aw17bpg/
http://www.nwherald.com/lists/2017/1...dex.xml?page=1

By the way, Aannah Interrant also has a younger sister, Ava Interrante, who is a pretty good player.

5'7" guard Tatum Koenig of West Branch, Iowa, recently became the all-time leading scorer for her high school. She is playing tremendously in her senior year and leads the entire state of Iowa with a 28.0 popint per game scoring average!-
http://www.thegazette.com/subject/sp...y-win-20171207 (scroll down to the bottom of the article)

5'10" guard Ellie Spelhaug of Pleasant Valley HS in Bettendorf, Iowa is also having a great senior season. her team has been ranked in the top 5 in their class in Iowa with her leading the way.

http://qctimes.com/sports/high-schoo...ace63e66a.html

6'2" forward Asia Strong from Riley HS in South Bend, Indiana is also having a nice senior season, but not getting as much publicity because she has other D1 players on her team, and plays in a very competitive area.

4th qtr, Bradley women up 52-37

UNI is currently losing so a win could pull the BU women to within a game of 4th place - not bad for a major rebuilding year
