Default AJ Youngman

Former Metamora coach Jim Youngman son who is now an 8th grader is ranked 13th in the state of kentucky for everyone but seniors. He has had Michigan State in to see him and Bradley is aware of him. AJ is now ranked #13 in the state of Kentucky for all under classmen regardless of age (that's Juniors & on down) by Scout Rick Bolus out of Louisville.*

Hope his grandparents are still in the area. That might be a big help down the road. Love to see him here ,I've know his dad for years.

Wow I just saw this thread. I have known Jim and his family for years! Looks like AJ will be the typical coach's son type of player!

They are a new high school with very players even available for the high school basketball team...and they are already done for the season - knocked out in their own district.
Youngman - an 8th grader - was playing on the high school varsity team and was averaging 20.2 ppg & 7.3 rpg - and will now play AAU ball.....

I wonder which one of the 2017 manual trio, if any, is most interested in Bradley. I assume Williams will go BCS.

At this point, I'm sure that they all want to play at a BCS school. Hopefully, they all eventually find a place where they fit in and can play a lot.

AJ Youngman being touted as one of the top prospects at this summer's June 15 West Virginia camp
http://westvirginia.forums.rivals.co...ersburg.22632/

I suspect AJ will not commit until after his senior year - and until he's gathered and considered all his offers....
I think it's easy to see the hype & frenzy and attention you get (like Bielfeldt, etc..) when you are available late...

A.J. has been working out all summer, and is jumping better than he ever has. When Redbird Recon reported that he was done for the summer, I suspect that he meant as it related to playing with his AAU team.

Here's a little update on AJ: he says he transferred to Manual because his family moved to that district...also speaks to his improvement & athleticism..
