that longer ESPN video confirms that the average NBA D-League salary is only $20,000, which is why so many kids prefer to play overseas even if the exposure & NBA-opportunity is greater in the D-League

And the game starts with Zach getting the opening tip, them scoring on a massive dunk, getting a free throw, defending well on the other end, then getting a dunk on his team's second possession, too. So it is Team 23 5 Mad Ants Alumni 0 with Zach scoring all 5 points.

Zach Andrews' Team 23 is up by double digits (72-59) with about 2 minutes left in the game. Looks like they will advance to Sunday's final game to play for the $1,000,000 prize.

Bradley HOF'er and one of Bradley's past players who have played in the NBA - Barney Cable - was highlighted in a journal from his home in Maryland where he retired...

"Barney Cable is a retired basketball player who played college ball for
Bradley University, and in the NBA for Syracuse, Chicago, St. Louis and
Baltimore. After playing for the NBA, Barney was player coach for the
Eastern Pro League, won two league championships and was named
Coach of the Year in 1967. He is honored in the Greater Peoria Sports
Hall of Fame. NESAP’s staff know and admire Mr. Cable as a generous and good
hearted Hampstead gentleman who has to bow his head to get through
the door of NESAP’s Thrift Store. Barney, who has repaired hundreds
of broken bikes and brought them to NESAP to be sold. We give him some of our donated golf clubs
that he takes to be refurbished, and then they are used for the Special Olympics. Barney played in a Blue Valor Golf Tournament
that honors Baltimore officers who have died in the line of duty. Despite his fame, Barney is a humble man who loves his family,
has lots of friends and cares about his community. At 6’ 7”, he is a man who’s stature is almost as big as his heart. He knows and
is known by many folks in town, and he rallies for the ones who are less fortunate. I have had the pleasure of working with
Barney on behalf of those neighbors needing a helping hand, and his concern for them is evident. He reaches
out in creative ways by whatever means and with whatever talents and resources he has to offer.
NESAP’s staff would hereby like to honor Barney Cable in NESAP’s Hall of Fame!"

One of Barney's cousins currently plays basketball for Notre Dame ...

More on Chris Roberts & his new team with translation
http://www.oksiena.it/news/colpo-per...rts-48348.html

"Mens Sana Basket 1871 is pleased to announce the engagement for
lastagione 2015/2016 Guard US Christopher Roy Roberts (193 cm).

The operation was made possible through a partnership with Diamond Private
Investment (DPI), which this year has wanted to link its name to the project-whites.

Maurizio Sacchi, CEO Diamond Private Investment: "We are increasingly
convinced that the Mens Sana is a great company and as such deserve to
return to occupy a prominent place in the world of the National Basketball
Association. It is for this reason that the DPI wanted to link his name to an
even stronger to the company symbol of the city of Siena trying to meet the
needs of the team in completing the roster. What we have achieved is an
absolute novelty in the national and international sporting and could be a
viable form of investment for the future of the players. We hope that it is a
season full of success and satisfaction. "

CURRICULUM VITAE CHRIS ROBERTS: Born in Fort Worth (Texas) March 24,
1988 grew cestisticamente Bradley University (2008-2011), before joining
the D-League. In the NBA development league as the mesh Idaho Stampede
(2010), Texas Legends (2010 to 2012) and Austin Toros (2013). In the
2013/2014 season comes to Italy in the ranks of Juve Caserta where he
recorded an average of 11.6 points per game. Last year continued his career
in the French top flight, to Bourg-en-Bresse, where in 20 games played
scored an average of 5.8 points per game.

THE COMMENT OF ALEXANDER Ramagli: "Chris Roberts is the player who
reflects the characteristics we were looking for. It is a versatile player, who
can score, has defensive attitude and athleticism. These features make it
useful in many parts of the game and in the fundamental balance of our
team. He already had experience in Italy, in Caserta, and comes from a
season not good in France. It will definitely be motivated by a desire for
redemption, a feature common to other players in our team. We believe we
have chosen a very important player to complete our roster and expect soon
to be able to work with the rest of the group, thus putting together all the
pieces of our puzzle. "
