Patrick O'Bryant tweeted- that this plane crash happened just 5 minutes from where he was at the time
https://twitter.com/xb7/status/562998398627102722

Speaking of Patrick O'Bryant....
He just played in his league's ALL STAR GAME and had a tremendous effort!
He nailed SEVEN three pointers & finished with 25 points - and while he was at it, POB finished 2nd in their 3-point shooting contest!
http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/spor.../01/2003610550

Meanwhile Tony Bennett is excelling in the Canadian Pro League (NBL) and is among the league's leaders in scoring, assists, steals, and he has helped lead his team to the top spot.

Taylor Brown's Turkish team just signed ex-NBAer Jordan Farmar
..they are one game out of 1st place in the Top Pro League in Turkey..
TB is among their top four players with 10.0 ppg, team-leading 5.3 rpg, 41.5% from the 3-pt arc (John Shurna shoots 53.8%!), and over 85% on FT's

One of the teams still in the hunt for the Brazilian League Championship is the Pinheiros Pines...

Here's an article (google-translated) on their successes so far this season and in the playoffs...
http://translate.google.com/translat...ml&prev=search

so how is this significant to Bradley basketball??

The head coach of Pinheiros is past Bradley star (1976) and international basketball legend
Marcel de Souza

yet another Badley Brave great is a National Champion...

Tony Bennett playing in the Top Canadian pro league (NBL) won the Title in a bizarre way...

the series went to a Game 7, do-or-die....with the series between the Halifax Rainmen & Windsor Express tied 3 games to 3

then during a pregame shootaround, the two teams brawled and the Rainmen left the facility...the
game was then determined a FORFEIT and the Championship awarded to Windsor....

Not everyone is happy about this ending...but from what has been made public the Rainmen were the ones who crossed the line so the ruling probably will stick

http://www.usbasket.com/NBLCanada/ne...hip-to-Windsor

Here's our guy Tony captured pregame by a fan...he was one of the Express stars in game 6 with 22 pts & 7 assists
https://twitter.com/maadii3134/statu...732736/photo/1

Cellus is still playing in the Argentinian Top pro playoffs...
His league is ranked among the top pro leagues in the world and Cellus' team Regatas Corrientas, has the 2nd best record (35-14) among the 18-team league

Zach Andrews dominates in two different pro-am leagues...

-his team won the title in UltimateHoops Arizona - with Zach as MVP
https://twitter.com/UHArizona/status/586459954866847744
https://www.facebook.com/ultimatehoo...type=3&theater

-then his team also did the same and he was MVP of UltimateHoops Las Vegas
https://twitter.com/UltimateHoops/st...99647133405185
https://twitter.com/UltimateHoops/st...83863714136065

Zach is still hoping for a chance next year to get back in the D-League or get some workouts with an NBA team.
