Default A few more results from former Braves/Chris Roberts/Zach Andrews

Chris Roberts' Mexican team Fuerza Regia won again -- Chris had 12 but they sit atop the league in wins at 21-6
with only a month left in the season...

Zach Andrews is playing in the NBDL for the Los Angeles D-Fenders and he's seen right away in this video coverage...(#34 in blue)
his team won over the Dakota Wizards 86-84, Zach started, played a bunch and dominated the paint with 9 pts & 13 rebounds!
Evansville's Shy Ely had 4 pts for the Wizards.

Ex-BU recruit Dwight Buycks had 16 for the Tulsa 66ers in their 89-76 win

Osiris Eldridge and his Bakersfield Jam beat Blake Ahearn and his Reno Bighorns 122-97.
Ahearn had 26 pts, and Osiris had 22 despite going just 1-6 from 3-pt
UNI's Adam Koch is also on Bakersfield and had 7 pts, 8 rebs

Lastly -- Ohio State volleyball player Mariah Booth is the daughter of Manual head basketball coach David Booth,
and she is one of their top players and shot blockers - she was just named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week

Don't believe David in the head coach at Manual. Think it's his brother, or some relation.

He is an uptempo coach who has won D-League titles in the past - so hopefully it will help Zach's chances

some followup on BU guys

Theron Wilson still one of the best players, top scorers in the Aussie League

A 'Where are they now' feature from Champaign newspaper has one ex-Brave and an ex-ISU guy
http://www.news-gazette.com/sports/i...05-illini.html

A POB mention in Boston Celtics history
http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/celti...sey-get-digits

and Chris Roberts did get an offer from Utah - but with no guarantee attached and a likelihood he'd start and possibly stay in the D-League, he chose the offer from the Italian team that was way better...

Lastly the local Sunday Basketball League for 2013-14 list the players they have thus far on their teams...
Many familiar names, Brian Lavin, Daniel Ruffin, Ryan Julius, Gavin Sullivan, DeAndre Miranda, Rodney Edgerson, Quentin Edwards, Breland McKnight (anyone remember the Bobby Knight connection?)

Zach Andrews just signed a sweet new deal to play top pro ball overseas - D-League play is great but the pay in the D-League is just not that tempting...
Zach signed with Osaka Evessa but has an opt out clause if he gets an NBA offer...
Zach once played in Japan - so now he's set to return...

a little followup on a couple of our past assistant coaches..

Ritchie McKay (assistant under Molinari) is now an assistant at Virginia -
he's currently taking a bunch of athletes to play in Jamaica for Athletes in Action, and also went to Prague over the summer with the U19 men's team..

Duane Broussard now finds himself as an assistant at UCLA - not a bad gig although some at UCLA didn't want him there
