Where'd you see he signed for $110K? That link on there is an agent (?) talking about how one of his guys signed for $110K... then says OE should sign for $100K and give that guy an agent's cut of 5%. Nothing about OE's actual contract?

Shocker Toure Murry has signed to open 2013-14 in training camp with the New York Knicks - congrats Toure..
http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba...w-york-knicks/

btw - most of what's in this thread is on ex-BU players ...with almost 200 responses and 40,000 views obviously BU fans want to read about their past players...so odd that people object when there's a rare comment about certain past Braves that used to play and coach here??

The Chris Roberts dunk-machine is at it again....this time a reverse slam dunk on an alley-oop pass

Chris Roberts named Top Play of the Week for the first week of the top pro Italian League..
for a nice alley-oop dunk from Stephon Hannah

Zach's team is off to a 4-0 start with another win, this time over the team Verdell Jones III plays for..
Zach is averaging 9 ppg & 8 rpg - Verdell Jones is averaging 18.3 ppg, 7 rpg, and 4 apg

Chris Roberts has quickly become a real fan favorite - because he is from Texas - he has been nicknamed "THE COWBOY"
..and the team's players have been nicknamed the good, the bad, and the ugly after one of the Italian fans' all time favorite "western" movies..

Chris Roberts is "the good" although they say...(translation)
"(He) .. is not blond and .. nothing like.. Clint Eastwood ....but (he is)... the 'good',
in the remake of "spaghetti westerns" of Sergio Leone, is Chris Roberts:
22 points, 3 rebounds ....precision worthy of a gunslinger. Cowboy."

However - the Jets's site now lists Bill Cole as having left the team and NOT been re-signed.
The Cheshire Jets just changed owners and hired Hamilton as a new head coach but I am not sure why they wouldn't make every effort to lock Cole in since he was one of their best players.

as someone else had pointed out - Bill Cole decided not to pursue a professional basketball career - he is now working and can be seen occasionally at the local hospitals and elsewhere, in roughly the same medical field as Danny Adams
I always liked Bill and thought he represented Peoria & Richwoods well - and would have loved to have seen what he could have accomplished as a Bradley Brave.

Here's a great line from the Evanston High School boys basketball coach Mike Ellis (former Peorian)

He credits his success and his style to an ex-Bradley player & coach, Chuck Buescher..

"..Ellis dug deep into his Peoria roots to produce a plan for the upset.

"That’s old fashioned Peoria basketball, the kind I’ve seen guys like Chuck Buescher and some of the other legends
down there run over the years," Ellis recalled. "I learned the lessons from them about how to attack teams with a guard-oriented lineup.
It’s an offense that’s really not that hard or complicated. We just put the ball in the guards’ hands."
