Bradley even had a 3rd recruit visiting this weekend - this really is turning out to be not just a defining moment but a whole defining weekend!

Jojo Toppin - 3-STAR rated and #8 player in Georgia

If a player doesn't commit during a visit, is it a disadvantage to be the first school officially visited? These players have offers from bigger schools.

That is an interesting question...

I am not sure it's a disadvantage as long as the kid has a really good visit and that our coaching staff stays on the kid intensely.....altho if the kid really blows up and gets better - then other bigger schools will start offering and we know how that usually goes.....
but I am also not sure there's any advantage to being the first visit...

we had this debate 4-5 years ago when Dave Reynolds was writing glowing articles about Geno Ford's recruiting ...
He called it a "defining moment" to get a whole bunch of kids here - many for their first visit...
There were names like Peyton Allen, Larry Austin & a bunch of kids out of Chicago...but in the end- almost all of them turned Bradley down in favor of other offers...

I think that question would have been a great one to ask Coach Wardle when he was answering those Twitter questions - I would love to know what he says...
I will try to remember and ask him or one of the assistants at the Itoo or the open practice..

I do recall one of our past coaches saying (paraphrase) "in recruiting there's no prize for 2nd place, and counting the time & resources you have to devote to the kids you you think you have the best shot at - the ones you just miss on are costlier than the ones who cut you from their list early"
