thanks...

FGCU wins yet another CHAMPIONSHIP!!! and automatic to bid the to NCAA - congrats to KK!
Amazing - for a team that had littleNCAA history prior to Kavanagh getting there...
now in the Ken Kavanagh era they have accomplished an NCAA men's basketball appearance THREE times since 2013 and they have a winning record in NCAA games (3-2)
They also have an NIT appearance in 2014 so they've been to the post-season FOUR of the last 5 years under KK.
Flat out amazing what he has done for their athletic success.

They have only been DI for 9 years and they have won
57 regular season conference championships and tournament championships! FIFTY-SEVEN in just over 9 years.

They have only been NCAA eligible for post-season play for FIVE years and yet have, now, 17 NCAA appearances!! (and counting individual appearances in tennis - it's 25!)

I wonder if their fans are constantly grumbling and bitc*ing about the other teams at the bottom of their conference?

Here is Drake's job posting-
https://hoopdirt.com/job/head-basket...ity-full-time/

They are not requiring "head coaching experience". The only qualifications required are:

Drake University is seeking applications for the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Drake University is a Division I program and competes in the Missouri Valley Conference. This individual must be able to identify, recruit, retain and develop qualified Division I student athletes who will compete at the national level and who will reflect Drake University academic standards. Finally, the successful candidate will have characteristics consistent with the Bulldog Way culture of character, excellence and ethics that uniquely define Drake Athletics.

Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree is required, a master’s degree is preferred.

Prior college coaching experience required.

Ability to be insured on Drake’s insurance for driving.

Another low DI spot opens, Alabama A&M in the SWAC, they were 2-27 and had the lowest RPI in all of DI, 351 & their only 2 wins were against 300+ RPI teams

Here is your CLASSIC schizoid fan base...

less than a year ago - the Minnesota Gopher fans & media were talking firing Richard Pitino
http://www.startribune.com/is-the-u-...ays/379221211/
https://twitter.com/TeddyGreenstein/...91077284421632
https://twitter.com/jake_the_maier/s...45098755416066

Now he has them going to the NCAA and even being mentioned in the conversation of National Coach of the Year!

Also - Miami (OH) has fired head coach John Cooper

A few years prior to Arkansas State, Grant McCasland was also a successful junior college coach at Midland College in Texas. He coached some players that Bradley recruited.
