Another early-season Caribbean tournament has been moved due to the damage from Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

The Paradise Jam, usually held each November on the campus of the University of the Virgin Islands on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands has been moved to the campus of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where it will be played on the scheduled dates of Nov. 17-19.

The 8 teams competing in this year's Paradise Jam are Wake Forest, Colorado, Drake, Drexel, Houston, Liberty, Mercer and Quinnipiac.

The women's Paradise Jam, which is usually played the following week after the men's tournament, will also be moved, but no alternate plans have been announced yet.

some articles on a couple of the Bahamas teams...

Bradley's opponent Vermont is the unanimous selection to win their conference, and they placed two players on the 1st Preseason All Conference

Weber State picked #2 in their conference - they seem to really like to shoot the 3-pointer in their preseason scrimmage

Northern Kentucky likewise picked #2 in their conference & have the Horizon Preseason Player of the Year, they have high hopes for this season...
