Default Anyone watching? Live stream of LiAngelo & LaMelo Ball's first pro game

They are on the worst team in the Lithuanian league (the got beat by 57 points in their last game)
... and so far, LiAngelo is certainly holding his own - clearly as good as anyone else on the team

LaMelo just now entering and "crowd is going crazy".

Already LaMelo has the play of the game! Nice pass......
I think what this shows is that the 2nd tier of Euro pro basketball is at the lower level of DI - maybe at DII level

LaMelo, the 16 year old high school junior, is more impressive so far than LiAngelo, the 19 year old former UCLA freshman. LaMelo has made a couple fancy, hot-dog plays, while LiAngelo kind of disappears on the court and has been a non-factor so far. All I've seen him do so far is stand still around the 3-point line and hope someone passes the ball to him. The Ball brothers' team, Vytautas (in the white uniforms), just dropped out of the Baltic Basketball League and announced that they will exhibitions against other teams. Today's game is against the junior team for another Lithuanian team Zalgiris (in the green uniforms), that plays in a different league a level below the top pro league that Vytautas played in. The Zalgiris second team is made up of 16 & 17 year old amateurs, and so far they are holding their own against the Vytautas pros.

Here is the link again to watch the game. Don't expect to see much defense. In fact, the couple times I saw one of the teams actually play a little tough defense, the other team looked surprised as if they thought it wasn't allowed. The Euro refs also seem to allow a lot of travelling violations without ever calling it.

a non-factor? They are the two leading scorers for their team and have played decent defense..
they certainly are not an embarrassment as some have predicted

the team they are playing is the Zalgiris junior team - but they are one of the best junior teams in their league
Many of the Vytautas players are not very good - I suspect they'd be losing if it were not for the Ball brothers

one other thing I note- all of the European big guys have a better touch around the basket than we see in DI - these guys know how to finish and put the ball in the hoop

Probably because they are playing against European defenders.
