Default Unusual shot

Video of an unusual 2/3 court shot at the halftime buzzer of today's Horizon League game with Valparaiso at Detroit-
https://twitter.com/ESPNCBB/status/833425800024166400

The Valpo player heaves about a 60 foot attempt that hits the shot clock and bounces high in the air, and then drops into the basket.
It beat the buzzer, but did not count because it hit the shot clock.
Valpo won the game easily 83-63. Alec Peters was the leading scorer with 20 points.

Here's another very unusual one..

it's a video highlight from the Morton HS girls game...
but watch the player carefully....

she dribbles, then stops her dribble, holds the ball, fakes a few times, then...
she starts a completely new dribble and fools the defender (who thought she wouldn't dribble again as she had used up her dribble)
and she drives right to the hoop & scores!

Hard to believe that THREE refs standing right there completely missed this obvious double-dribble violation!!

You must not watch a lot of high school girls basketball if you find it hard to believe.

LOL, I do watch some - but a lot of HS refs are whistle happy and call travelling on anything that looks close...

but to miss a laughably obvious double-dribble that left the defender standing with her palms up in the air asking the ref how that was allowed - is a little unusual - especially since it's playoffs - the refs are in the spotlite, too

gotta watch this one...
the final 0.5 second (you can see the clock early on)
of an Indiana high school basketball game and a missed FT 80 feet away

here's an unusual way that a referee "takes over the game"

Here's a pretty nice buzzer beater shot to win a game!

Another buzzer beater from the NBA last night- a perfectly executed inbounds play with a lob-dunk with 0.6 second left on the clock by the Phoenix Suns to win the game-

here's one...

from the NBA game Spurs at Knicks...

Manu Ginobli makes what appears to be a pass from outside the arc but it clearly goes right thru the hoop...

however, a couple of the Knicks players didn't see it go thru the hoop and grab what they think is a rebound and keep playing...all three refs also are unaware the ball went thru the hoop.
Ginobili pleads with the refs that it went in the basket and the Spurs should get 2 pts, but you can clearly see the ref say "No, it didn't".

They finally stopped play and checked the video replay - and award the basket, and it is a 3-pointer

Another very odd basketball shot. This was from the same NBA game last night between the NY Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs. Knick forward Michael Beasley takes a shot from the top of the key that rolls around the rim 5 times, nearly coming out a couple times before finally dropping into the basket.
