Corrected: Mark Adams has some nice things to say about Bradley in this tweet-
https://twitter.com/EnthusiAdams/sta...09952449290240

Bradley is a mystery team with a high energy coach in Brian Wardle. Its all about developing pieces to the long term puzzle in Peoria.

He also has comments about the other MVC teams-

Here are a couple point guards we have been involved with, and may still be recruiting-

Micah Bradford

Devonte Green - has many higher offers, and may no longer be considering Bradley

Now some speculating-
There are also a couple uncommitted D1 caliber point guards playing for the Indiana Elite program that Coach Drew Adams is closely aligned with. I do not know how high on Bradley's radar these guys are, but they both have D1 offers and could end up as decent D1 point guards.....
6'0" Nai Carlisle-

Oops, sorry, wrong Mark Adams.
That twitter account belongs to the Mark Adams who has done color broadcasting for the MVC Network for many years.

Coach Drew Adams' father's name is also Mark Adams, but not the one I cited.

What position does Daeshon Francis play? Is he considered a combo-guard?

I wouldn't mind seeing more international players recruited. As long as they can play good basketball at Bradley, I don't care where they come from. I believe most fans feel the same way.

However, I readily admit that Manual has some players that have the basketball ability to fit in nicely.

And one more possible point guard possibility-
Zion Morgan was a 6'4" 2016 guard recruit that Bradley was very involved in last summer and fall when Geno Ford and his staff were at Bradley. Bradley dropped off him after Geno Ford left, and he verbally committed to Valparaiso Oct. 9, 2015. Valpo reportedly recruited him to be a point guard, but he is probably more of a combo guard.

But tonight, according to Illinois Prep Bullseye, Zion Morgan just announced he will not sign with Valpo, and that he will reopen his recruitment-
https://twitter.com/prepbullseye/sta...16911676219392

However, he is not the classic playmaker point guard that Coach Wardle covets.

Daeshon Francis is not a point guard, and is not a good ball handler. He is a wing guard, and he is not a good perimeter shooter. He only made 1 three pointer all year last year at UW-Green Bay, and averaged only 0.7 assists per game.

Apparently Nai Carlisle re-committed to San Jose State in July. Unless he changed his mind again I believe he is off the board.

added Zion Morgan back and Justin Thomas

2016 recruits - top tier most of whom have been offered and visited:
Daniel Soetan - LINK LINK
Justin Thomas - Indianapolis Pike point guard first mentioned about 2 weeks ago here --> LINK - also plays for Indiana Elite - if we sign a PG this fall then this guy is a possibility
Daeshon Francis - our guys have been recruiting Iowa recently
Richardson Maitre - just decommitted from Cleveland State and is now back on the market
Leland Green - still open, just visited UTEP
Godwin Boahen - Now just visited Louisville but apparently no offer
Zion Morgan - decommitted from Valpo - reopened recruitment
Nate Taphorn - could be available in 2016 as a grad-transfer - another link - already talking about graduation...

Others who we have reportedly offered but do not appear to still be top targets-
Montrell Dixson - has changed high schools 3 times since last spring -
Micah Bradford - Wright State was in to view him - here's some new highlights - LINK
Ben Coupet - has kinda dropped off a bit - now checking out Eastern Carolina? - LINK
Derrick Walker - his move to Sunrise Prep is not a good sign for Bradley
Logan Hodges - ***
XXX - Zach Norvell - verballed to Gonzaga
Chris Palombizio - just verballed to Oakland
Marquell Fraser - Marquell has chosen VCU - tough loss but we saw it coming
Loren Christian Jackson - commits to LBSU
Charlie Moore - committed to Memphis

As I said, those two Indiana Elite point guards were just me speculating.
Here's an article that documents that Nai Carlisle signed his Letter of Intent Wednesday for San Jose State-

I had a chance to talk to the 2016 recruit who was at the game tonight. The coaches prefer that his identity be kept off the board, but if anyone wants to know more about him, send me a PM.

One clue- he won a state championship on the floor of Carver Arena.

then in game 2 he again came off the bench and put up 12 pts/9 rebs - and was the leading rebounder in the game.
Wonder if he'd still have interest in Bradley.....
Tucker again was star of the game
Has helped Logan to 8-0 and avg 18pt/9reb/62% FG%

Michael Tucker with 15 pts & 14 rebs & 10 assists - off the bench - last night - avg. 16ppg/9rpg/59% FG%/42% from 3-pt

Daeshon Francis with 25 & 15 in his last two outings- avg 17ppg/6 rpg/4 apg/38% from 3-pt

and both Kenwood HS kids, Zion Morgan & Nick Robinson did not sign where they committed and have reopened recruitment.
Both had 17 points in Kenwood's 87-38 win over Chicago Julian.
Valpo then replaced Zion Morgan with the Micah Bradford commit.

Nate Taphorn did not play a single minute in Northwestern's last game. In their five games he's played just 46 minutes - LESS total playing time as Scottie James has gotten here.
Northwestern has engineered a remarkable schedule to make their record look good.
VERY likely they will finish the non-conference part of their schedule at 11-2 and NOT have beaten a single team with a winning record!
UMass-Lowell, Fairfield, Columbia, New Orleans, SIUE, Chicago State, Mississippi Valley State, Sacred Heart, Loyola-MD, DePaul, even Mizzou - all terrible losing teams
Only UNC & Va Tech have winning records & they will go 0-2 in those two games.

been having a little fun with the idea that hopefully Nate Taphorn might want to play closer to home as a grad transfer...

but last night someone must have sent Northwestern head coach Chris Collins decided to sent Nate Taphorn in for 20 minutes, and Nate went 3-5 from the arc, scored 11 pts, grabbed 3 rebs and had an asst
...and just coincidentally Northwestern beats Virginia Tech 81-79 in OT- which they wouldn't have done without Nate's performance.

not sure if he played Thursday but Morgan Park got absolutely annihilated by a Chicago team named Solorio..
They lost 82-42 - Solorio has a 6-5 FRESHMAN named Kahlil Whitney who scored 35 points (ALL IN THE FIRST HALF!!!)
- the halftime score was 64-19 and I suspect the Solorio guys rested their 1st & 2nd string in the 2nd half.
