Default ACC-B10 Challenge

Seems to be quite a joke this year.

Think the matchups got trumped by the Champions Classic and the PK80.

Now a watered down B10-ACC challenge.

Looks like the B10 is gonna get pounded.

B10 down this year?

Wake Forest is not a good team - they have 3 bad losses and yet are kinda trouncing the Illini - who look like a bunch of average mid-major guys - they just don't have the athleticism, speed, strength of even the lower power-conference schools

In the Purdue-Louisville game, Louisville got their first taste of what it is going to be like playing on the road this season...

I watched the entire game and never felt like Illinois was getting "trounced". Their D and passing was not very good, and having a 6 point possession, and another 3 point possession on questionable calls was not helpful. However, it was a 3-10 point game most of the second half with Illinois coming back only for Wake to answer. I thought Illinois had the superior athleticism, speed and strength. However, they had no answer for Wake's bigs.

Looks like it could be a long season for Illinois...
Halftime score from Champaign- Maryland 45 Illinois 26
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-bas...meId=400986402

Maryland shot 73.1% overall and 71.4% from three in the half. Illinois shot 32.4% overall, and 14.3% from three. Illinois was outrebounded by Maryland 19-11.Still time to come back, but Illini really struggling on offense.
