Bradley International Trips

When was Bradley's last international trip? I thought they went to europe in 2018 or 2019 but could be wrong? Seems like they haven't been anywhere abroad in a while.

It does seem like it has been a while. I think there is value in building relationships between team members but….. there is significant cost-there is a limited pile of money and $ on a trip probably come out of compensation for players. Is it worth it vs being able to pay players more ? Also the reality seems to be quite a bit of player turnover from one year to another and you certainly can’t afford to do it every year and each year you need to build relationships between a new group. Can you do that in Peoria well enough ?

Coach rewarded Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye and Luuk van Bree with a trip to England and Amsterdam in 2018
Prior to that it was 2013 to the Bahamas, and before that it was 2009 to Brazil.
I think teams are allowed to go every 4years

How many remember the preseason exhibition tour Bradley made in 2004 to Canada?
Bradley went 5-0 against decent Canadian college teams.
BU had a few Canadian guys back in the 90's but there were none on that team.
How many Canadian guys can you name from the 90's and early 2000's?
(Jason Faulknor, James Gillingham, Stevan Marcetic, Jerome Robinson)

I went to those 5 games in Canada back in October, 2004. It was a fun trip. Those games were the first look at Jim Les' incredible incoming recruiting class of 2004 that included junior college transfers Marcellus Sommerville, Tony Bennett, and Lawrence Wright, as well as freshmen Patrick O'Bryant, Daniel Ruffin, Jeremy Crouch, and Sam Singh. That core of players would lead Bradley in 2005-06 to the historic Sweet 16 run and also lead to a string of 4 straight 20+ win seasons. That was the first time that had been accomplished at Bradley in over 40 years.
