    Hard part for the band is that he did it for so long and there was never an understudy. Couple that with a few changes since he retired, and things aren't really the same as they used to be. The "family and friends band" fell apart this past year as well.

    I agree - need more connectors in the offseason. May/June are hard because guys are off campus for most of that. July a lot of folks are into vacationing and the staff is out recruiting a lot of the weekends. But it shouldn't go from March to October with no contact with all fans.

    With this many new guys, its more of a sorting process of figuring out what you've got on the roster. Anything at this point is probably "Is the defense really good or the offense really bad?" style question of any intra-squad scrimmaging.

    This job was hired. It is the replacement for Brad Chandler who left to be the AD at Wright State. Brad started in compliance but then got promoted to deputy AD where he handled a little(lot) bit of everything. Oscar Ramirez started today. He came from Colorado Mesa.
